AIMS:

We are working on a set of European/International Lesson Plans about the consequences of the totalitarianism in the XX Century, in the WWII and in the Spanish Civil War, with emphasis on the Human Rights like the concentration camps during the Holocaust (Shoah) and the current consequences of the Spanish Civil War (Law of Historical Memory), and the resistance movement of people who thought other world and reality was possible. It means our main purpose is to make our students aware of the importance of critical thinking and political and social activism in the construction of the EU through the European History and the development of Human Rights against intolerance and totalitarianism in order to create pedagogical tools to offer a new perspective on the extermination: from Collaboration, Indifference and Resistance in response to the new rise of radical-right parties in Europe.

Dear partners:

First of all and again IES Tirant lo Blanc, my School, would like to express our gratitude for your hard work.
As you know well, The EU has resolved the 2014 CALL late, so maybe we will have to reorganize this first year, so:
1. We will send you as soon as possible, the final application form to see why the EU has modified the grand and to know if it has a repercussion in our plans.
2. We are going to talk to International Amnisty, UNESCO and M.H. University to prepare a "press conference".

3.We would like to make a meeting in Elche with headmasters and coordinators if possible ( We have to study the approved budget) where we could discuss in detail the differents aspect of the project to sing a general agreement. This meeting would be a great opportunity to carry out the "press conference".
4. My School is preparing a staff meeting and a Parents Association meeting to inform in detail about the project.

If you have more things to share,do not hesitate to get in touch.
All the best,
Darío
